Nautel Ltd.. is a Canadian electronics company, which transmitters and amplifiers for transmitting equipment manufactures. The company sells its transmission facilities worldwide. Nautel Brodcastsysteme be used in 177 countries. The company has multiple offices in different countries, inter alia, in the U.S., Europe, Mexico, Africa, South America and Asia.

History

Nautel Ltd.. was founded in 1969 in Hackett 's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada. One of the initial tasks was the construction and maintenance of electrical radio - firing systems for the Canadian government. In order to better market the products in the USA, opened a branch in Bangor, Maine in the United States in 1974. 1970 Nautel delivered the first radio beacon to the Canadian government. This worked in a frequency between 190-535 kHz and served as a navigational aid for air and sea travel. 1982-1985, the first transmitter for radio stations have been presented. The first 50 kW transmitter was purchased by CBA ( AM) in Moncton and until April 8, 2008.

Research

Nautel works with exploring new plasma actuators for space vehicles, in cooperation with the U.S. missile corporate AD Astra. With this technology, the travel times to other planets can be significantly reduced.
