The visitor is a Czechoslovak science fiction television series for children from the years 1981 to 1983. It was a co-production between the Czechoslovak television and several other European countries. The series was also shown on East German television; there she was entitled Expedition Adam '84. Directed by Jindřich Polák, the film music composer Karel Svoboda wrote. It was shot the series in Czechoslovakia ( Barrandov film studios, and others), the Netherlands ( Dolphinarium Harderwijk ) and the GDR ( Göhren on Rügen).

Content

In the year 2484 it is determined by the so-called central thinkers, that the Earth is threatened by a " rotating fog formations " because it could shift the earth's axis during his forthcoming flyby of Earth. Should be moved continents using a formula of genius Adam Bernau and saved from the catastrophe as an alternative to an evacuation of threatened areas. According to his memoirs, later a Nobel Bernau to this formula - developed in 1984 - even as a young student. Unfortunately, this exercise book has been destroyed with the formula in the past in a fire.

Under the direction of the historian Filip an expedition team is made thanks to a time machine, which is built for camouflage in a Lada Niva, 500 years into the past to travel Kamenice in place to track the formula before their destruction, preserve and in to bring the future in order to save the earth. After the formula after many complications could not be saved, will the time travelers back to their time. The Lord also mitgereiste Drchlík notes that the central computer is wrong and fixes this, with a small wooden wedge. The central thinker then amended its original, incorrect calculation, noting that the Earth was not at risk.

  • The series was published in Germany by Universum Film on May 22, 2009 to DVD.

Others

After a dispute with the widow of a real professor Philip the producers had to rename the figure in the Czech original. Since 1989, he says there Professor Richard.
