Navy Medical Service Corps

The Navy Medical Service Corps is part of the medical service of the United States Navy. The NMSC was established on August 4, 1949 after a decree of the U.S. Congress. The officers in 2600 Engaged in the NMSC are responsible for the management and care of the medical service of the U.S. Navy. The NMSC is currently divided into the following sections:
