Navy One

Navy One is the call sign that gets assigned to each aircraft of the U.S. Navy, as soon as the President of the United States is on board.

Now the only opportunity existed to the Navy One was on 1 May 2003, when George W. Bush in a Lockheed S-3 Viking translated to the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln ( CVN -72), where he continued his mission Accomplished speech was made, in which he announced the end of the Iraq war. This particular machine is now in the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida.

A Navy aircraft, in which the Vice President is located, is called Navy Two.
