Nayrouz

Nairuz (Arabic: عيد النيروز, DMG ʿ īd to - nairūz ) the party is at the beginning of the Coptic year. The word is related to the Persian Nowruz. Nairuz is celebrated on the first day of the month Tut. The date corresponds to the Gregorian calendar September 11th or when the subsequent Gregorian year is a leap year, September 12.
