Nazeer (horse)

Nazeer (9 August 1934 - January 1, 1960 ) was a on the State Stud El Zahraa near Cairo in Egypt drawn original Arabian stallion Mansour from the Bint Samiha. Nazeer would influence his descendants, not only the German, but the Arabian horse breeding world.

He had numerous descendants, including important horses such as Aswan, Ansata Ibn Halima and Morafic. From the Egyptian drawn Morafic the finding in Germany sire El Shaklan comes from. The three German Nazeer sons Ghazal, Kaisoon and Hadban Enzahi shaped the purebred Egyptian Arabian mainly in Germany.

The father of his mother's father, Sotamm comes from bloodlines that are due to the horses, which were imported by Wilfrid and Lady Anne Blunt from the stud of Ali Pasha Sherif. Sotamm was born in Sussex, England on the Crabbet Arabian Stud and was sold by Lady Wentworth to the Egyptian government.
