Nazr Mohammed

Nazr Mohammed Tahiru ( born September 5, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American professional basketball player. The 2.08 m wide Center currently stands at the Chicago Bulls in the NBA under contract.

The son of Ghanaian immigrants is known for his aggressive rebound behavior.

He was selected in the NBA Draft 1998, 29 out of the Utah Jazz. In the NBA he has played for eight different teams: Philadelphia 76ers ( 1998-2000 ), Atlanta Hawks ( 2000-2003 ), New York Knicks (2003 to 2004), San Antonio Spurs (2004 to 2006), Detroit Pistons (2006 - 2008), Charlotte Bobcats (2008-2011), the Oklahoma City Thunder ( 2011-2012) and since 2012 for the Chicago Bulls.
