NBA Summer League

The NBA Summer League (also called " Vegas Summer League " called " ) is a professional basketball league in the United States, which is organized by the NBA. It begins shortly after the NBA Draft and will help to ensure that rookies or other players, three or less years in the NBA playing, gain experience and to improve. the Summer League will take about 10 days and was until 2010 held in Las Vegas. Summer League 2008

The NBA Summer League 2008 was held until July 20, 2008 by the 11th. It was attended by 21 teams. The Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets won with four victories and one defeat only. The best player of 2008 was Jerryd Bayless of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Summer League 2009

2009 started the Summer League on July 10 and ended on July 19. The Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies could those unbeaten, winning with five victories. The best player Blake Griffin was of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Summer League 2010

The Summer League 2010 was held from 5 to 9 July in Orlando and from 9 to 18 July in Las Vegas. In Orlando, the Oklahoma City Thunder won with four wins and one defeat. In Las Vegas, the San Antonio Spurs shared with the Toronto Raptors for overall victory. Both teams each won all five games.

Summer League 2012

After 2011 due to the lock- outs in the NBA Summer League not held, it was reintroduced in the calendar of the NBA in 2012. In the Orlando Summer League began on July 9 and ended on July 13. In Orlando, the Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons shared the best record with 4 wins and one defeat.
