Nebmaatre (prince)

Nebmaatre (Nb m3 ˁ t R ˁ ) was a son of the ancient Egyptian King Ramses IX. (reigned about 1128 / 1127 to 1109 BC). He was the high priest of Heliopolis, bore the title of Grand the show ends of Re - Atum = Who - mau -en-Re - Atum ( Wr- m3w -n -R ˁ - Jtmw ), but also the variants Big the scene ends of Heliopolis = Who - mau - Iunu ( Wr- m3w - Jwnw ) and Supreme Grand the show ends of Heliopolis = Who - mau - who - s - Iunu ( Wr- m3w - wr- n- Jwnw ). Nebmaatre is known from temple inscriptions from Heliopolis. The inscriptions were probably installed by him and also call his father. The temple, or at least the parts obtained appear to have been built by Ramses II. The name Nebmaatre suggests that the high priest Nebmaatre under Ramses VI. , Who was his great-uncle and the throne name Neb -maat - re Mery -Amun wore, was born.
