Nebojša Kaluđerović

Nebojša Kaluđerović (Cyrillic Небојша Калуђеровић; born December 17, 1955 in Nikšić ) is a Montenegrin diplomat and politician. From 18 July 2012 to 4 December of the same year he was Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro.

Life

In 1979, Kaluđerović his studies with a focus on International Relations at the Faculty of Law from the University of Belgrade. From 1981 he was member of the Yugoslav Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the Yugoslav Mission to the United Nations in New York, after which he was a political advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1994 to 2000 he was a representative of several Serb- Montenegrin companies in Russia. After that, he was senior official in the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chief Advisor of Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic, and from 2004 Permanent Representative of Serbia and Montenegro in the United Nations.

On 18 July 2012, he was the successor of Milan Roćen Foreign Minister (Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration); before the end succeeded him Igor Luksic in this function again. He is also Professor of International Negotiation at the Political Science Faculty of the University of Montenegro.
