Geography

Geographical location

Neckartenzlingen located in the Neckar valley at the mouth of Erin's in the Neckar River, about 25 kilometers south of Stuttgart and 10 kilometers north of Reutlingen 288-415 meters.

History

In the district of Neckartenzlingen settlement remains from the Neolithic period ( 2300 BC) have been found south of the town grave mounds from the Hallstatt period. Beginning of the 20th century, a paved Roman road piece (of Rottenburg to Cannstatt ) was excavated.
