Ned Beauman

Ned Beauman ( born 1985 in London) is an English author and journalist.

Life

Beauman grew up in Hampstead. He studied from 2003 to 2006 Philosophy in Cambridge and graduated from there with a BA degree. At the University of Sussex, he then studied until 2007 modern and contemporary literature, culture and thought, and completed his studies with the MA.

He writes for " Dazed & Confused " and other newspapers and magazines. For the magazine " Another Man ", he was editor in chief. With his first novel, Fly, Hitler, fly! (English Boxer, Beetle ), he won the Writers' Guild Of Great Britain Award 2011 ( Best Fiction Book). With his novel Egon solver amazing mechanism for almost instantaneous transport a person from place to place ( engl. The Teleportation Accident ) he won the 2013 Somerset Maugham Award.

His father Christopher Beauman and his mother Nicola Beauman also write books.
