Nedyalko Yordanov

Nedjalko Assenov Yordanov (also Nedyalko Asenov Yordanov, or Nedialko Asenov Yordanov wrote, Bulgarian Недялко Асенов Йорданов; born January 18, 1940 in Burgas, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian writer, poet, playwright, director and translator. Yordanov was good friends with the Turkish- Bulgarian poet Reception Küpçü and translated some of his works into Bulgarian.

Life

Yordanov graduated from high school in his hometown and in 1962 graduated in Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. The following year he worked as a teacher of literature in Malko Tarnovo. Between 1963 and 1983, Yordanov was a literary Andriana Budewska Theatre in Burgas and from 1983 to 1990 its director. In addition Yordanov was 1980-1988 editor in chief of More ( Bulg Море to German Sea). Between 1990 and 1999 he was a playwright and director of theater Wasraschdane in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
