Needle valve

The float needle valve is a component of carburetors in gasoline engines. It is actuated by the float of the carburetor. Due to the level in the float chamber of the carburetor, the needle is raised in the needle valve or lowered. Thus, the afterflow is opened or closed in the float chamber of the carburetor.

A weakness is that it can be run at the jamming of the valve depending on the position of the carburetor or separated from the fuel supply.

Also can affect the composition of the mixture before the gasifier a varying height level of the fuel, because the static pressure between the levels is different, more or less fuel flows through the nozzle.
