History

1068 Neehausen was first mentioned.

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Neehausen, Amsdorf, Aseleben, Erdeborn, Hornburg, Lüttchendorf, Röblingen am See, Seeburg, Stedten and Wansleben closed the lake to the sea area unit community Mansfeld together. At the same time the management of Community maritime area Mansfeld, was among the Neehausen was dissolved.
