Neem Karoli Baba

Neem Karoli Baba Neem Karori Baba or (real name Lakshmi Narayan Sharma; * in Akbarpur, Uttar Pradesh, † September 11, 1973 in Vrindavan ) was the guru of Ram Dass ( Richard Alpert ) and was made famous by the book " Be Here Now" ( Be here Now ), which was an important book for the hippie movement. For his followers, who call him Maharajji, he is considered one of the great saints of India in the 20th century.
