Neerdar (Wilde Aa)

BW

The Neerdar is a 14.6 km long, orographic left-hand or north western tributary of the Wild Aa ( " eagle " ) in the northeastern part of the Rothaargebirge in North Rhine -Westphalia and Hesse ( Germany ). It has a catchment area of 37.308 km ²

Course

The creek originates in the Westphalian Neerdar Hochsauerlandkreis at the interface of seamlessly merging mountain regions Rothaargebirge, Sauerland and Upland.

From its source, the west or above Düdinghausen ( a north- north-west district of Medebach ) is located approximately 300 m south of the border to northwestern North Hesse on the eastern slope of Bald Pön or the north slope of Kalied that Neerdar flows initially north-easterly direction, being this time and time runs above after a few hundred meters, flow path or south-southeast of Usseln ( an eastern suburb of Willingen ) to around 1.2 km in length across the border to Hesse.

After the crossing of the border the Neerdar in Waldeck- Frankenberg flows - Usseln east passing through but not fluently - by Neerdar and Bömighausen (both eastern districts of Willingen ) and thereby extends along the B 251 in the east.

Then the river bends ( the main road leaving ) to the south and the water takes the approach flowing from the northeast Rhena (6.2 km long; greatest Neerdar inflow ) on. In this direction extend opens the Neerdar after passing flow of Alleringhausen ( a western suburb of Korbach ) in the Wild Aa ( " eagle ").

Watershed

The headwaters of the Neerdar - to Kalied and Kahle Pön - is on the Diemel-Eder/Fulda/Weser-Wasserscheide. This means that the aforementioned two mountains springing and flowing in a predominantly easterly direction Neerdar about the Wild Aa ( " eagle " ) makes a southern detour via the Fulda and Eder to the Weser, while a little further west on Bald Pön Springing and to the northeast flowing Diemel to the northeast drained fluid directly into the Weser.

Inflows

Among the tributaries of the Neerdar belong with orographic mapping (l = left side, r = right side ), length in kilometers and source and estuary ( downstream considered ):
