Neferkamin

Neferkamin, also Neferkamin I., actually Nefer -ka- Min, an Egyptian King (Pharaoh) of the 8th dynasty ( First Intermediate Period ).

Origin

The name of the king is so named in the King List in the temple of Seti I in Abydos (No. 47). There, the Min sign ( Gardiner R22) in an "S" ( Gardiner O34 ) has been misunderstood. In the British Museum in London, gold nuggets are with his name, which provide the correct reading.
