The test consists of six movements, which can be divided into four phases. The movements are performed by the patient in a standing position.

If the test results are distorted by unconscious shoulder movements of the patient, a second test run is performed in which the person under examination with the hands holding the shoulders of the patient. The results are, for example, with the help of Cranio - Corpo - Graphy, recorded by a computer and evaluated graphically.
