Nehru Cup
The Nehru Cup or the Copa Nehru was a football competition in India.
The Cup was played between the various national teams participating in the tournament. Partly also attended the B- teams, the Olympic teams, junior national teams and the amateur country representatives. 1983 and 1984 were represented by Haladás Szombathely and Vasas Budapest also club teams, with former under the name of the Hungarian Olympic team took. Overall, there were 1982-2009 14 Sweeps of this competition. He was initially held annually until 1989, then was converted to a two-year cycle. After the tournament in 1997 was followed by a ten -year hiatus. Since then, there have been two sweeps in the years 2007 and 2009.
