Néicer Reasco

Neicer Reasco Yano ( born July 23, 1977 in Tambillo, Esmeraldas ) is an Ecuadorian footballer.

Reasco played from 1997 consistently for the Ecuadorian top club Liga de Quito - with the exception of 2000/ 01, when he went for eleven games to the Argentine first division side Newell 's Old Boys from Rosario. The defender was a regular player on the right -back position and won with league between 1998 and 2005 four Ecuadorian league title. After 249 league appearances for the capital club he left after the 2006 World Cup in Ecuador to Brazil, where he now plays for the former club champion São Paulo FC. In his squad he is the only non- Brazilian. After a long injury, he returned there in January 2008 in the squad back. In July 2008 he moved back to Liga de Quito.

His debut in the national team of Ecuador he gave on 18 October 1998 at the international match against Brazil. Since then, he played 32 international matches for Ecuador and participated among others in the tournaments at the Copa América in 2004 and 2007. Reasco was in his country's squad for the 2006 World Cup and came in three games for use. As in the national team its common position is occupied as a right defender Ulises de la Cruz, he plays right midfield or on the left side of defense.
