Neil Cross

Neil Cross ( born February 9, 1969 in Bristol, England ) is a nominated for the Booker Prize author and screenwriter who is born and raised in the UK and currently in Wellington, New Zealand, lives.

Life

Cross was born in Bristol and grew up in Edinburgh with his mother and stepfather. After the separation of the two he moved back to Bristol and attended the Brislington Comprehensive School. Later he went to the University of Leeds, before he started to work in the publishing industry. In 2002 he moved with his family to Wellington. He continues to write, among other things, he is the lead author of the BBC television series Spooks - In sight of MI5 and the creator of the series Luther with Idris Elba.

He was involved in the screenplay of the 2013 horror film Mama published.
