Neil Hamilton (actor)

James Neil Hamilton ( born September 9, 1899 in Lynn, Massachusetts, † September 24, 1984 in Escondido, California ) was an American actor.

Hamilton began as a model and came over here to acting. At first, he played in some repertoire theaters, and received in 1918 his first film role. His breakthrough came in 1923 with The White Rose, directed by DW Griffith. End of the 1920s, he signed a contract with Paramount Pictures Studio and got some major roles. The transition to talkies succeeded the actor easily and he continued his career until the mid- 1960s. In späterern years he held various roles in television and was a regular on the television series Batman.

James Neil Hamilton died on September 24, 1984 in Escondido, California.
