Neil Strauss

Neil Strauss ( born October 13, 1973 in Illinois) is an American journalist and author who writes for the New York Times and Rolling Stone.

Life

In the German -speaking world, he was with his book The Perfect Seduction ( original: The Game ) is known, which deals with his experiences in the developing Pickup community. In the community he is known as "Style".

With the success of his book The Perfect Seduction, which is applied as an autobiographical novel, his reputation and the number of requests increased after pickup coaching, etc. As a consequence, he wrote The Scarifiers (orig. Rules of the Game ), which for the most part is designed as a non-fiction book and the reader promises a 30-day program to develop the so-called pickup artist. In Germany it was published by Ullstein Verlag, 2009.

For Rolling Stone, he wrote stories about stars like Kurt Cobain, Madonna, Tom Cruise, Orlando Bloom, the Wu -Tang Clan, Gwen Stefani and Marilyn Manson.

For his reporting, he won the ASCAP Award.
