At the time of the census of 2000, there were 345 people the place. The population density was 13.8 people per km ². There were 138 housing units at an average 5.5 per km ². The population of Neilton consisted of 88.41 % White, 4.35% Native American, 5.22 % reported from other races, and 2.03 % from two or more races. 6.09 % of the population to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
