Nekézseny

Nekézseny is a town in Borsod -Abaúj -Zemplén.

Geographical Location

Nekézseny lies in northern Hungary, 46 kilometers north -west of the county capital Miskolc. Neighboring municipalities are Csokvaomány, Dédestapolcsány, Lénárddaróc and Sáta. The nearest town Ózd is about 15 km from Nekézseny.

History

The town was founded in the Árpád era. In 1415 he was first mentioned in a control list. Also, this area was occupied by the Turks. Since 1782 there is a reformed parish. Construction of the church from 1816 to 1822. 1966, the town was united with Sáta and after the system change again independent.
