Nekrogoblikon (band)

Nekrogoblikon is a company founded in 2006 American heavy metal band from California. The origins of the group lie in Palo Alto, she was then completed at the University of California, Santa Barbara ( UCSB ). The band has been observed in Los Angeles and Southern California in the room, where it has an established fan base. So far they have released two albums: Goblin Iceland and Stench and EP Power.

History

Creation and Goblin Iceland (2006-2010)

Nekrogoblikon started as a summer project by Tim Lyakhovetskiy and Nicholas Von Doom in 2006. Lyakhovetskiy and Von Doom album Goblin Iceland took in the garage of Tim in Palo Alto itself on. As Lyakhovetskiy returned to Santa Barbara, he made it his mission to convert Nekrogoblikon in a live band. He hired Alex Duddy and Ashleigh Carracino to take over from Doom's vocal and keyboard roles, Spencer Bartz, Alex and Austin Alereza Nickel took over drums, guitar and bass. After eleven performances, among others at the " Head Bang -for-the -highway " band contest of the " Whisky a Go Go" in Hollywood, Spencer moved to Japan. Eddie exchanger, a friend and former bandmate of Alereza and nickel, the drums took over in September 2007. Further changes followed, as members left the university or turned toward other projects.

Stench (2011-2012)

On 19 July 2011, the band released the album Stench with 12 titles. In September 2012, they released the music video for No One Survives in which Brandon Dermer directed and which has been viewed 1.5 million times within the first three months. 2012 Anthony Delorenzi was replaced on keyboards by Aaron Minich. In June 2013 Nekrogoblikon occurred at the Download Festival in the UK, at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park and other European festivals.

Power ( 2013)

On 27 August 2013, the band released Power. The Kerrang Magazine! Gave EP 5 of 5 stars. Power was produced by Nekrogoblikon and Matt Hyde ( Deftones, Children of Bodom ), diluted.

Name

The band's name comes from the main themes Goblins - and the Necronomicon of HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos. The pieces of tape are dark and show influences of Children of Bodom, Finntroll and 3 Inches of Blood.
