Nelly Ciobanu

Nelly Ciobanu ( born October 28, 1974 in Cania, Moldavian SSR, USSR ) is a Moldovan singer.

She attended the Music Academy in Tiraspol and entered 1993 for the first time as a singer along with her brother as a duo "Master Dinamit " on. Since 1998 she sang at several international music competitions, including in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan and North Korea.

When Moldovan finals for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2005, she took second place. Four years later she won and therefore represented her native country at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the song " Hora din Moldova" ( German: "Dance of Moldova "). In the victory of the Norwegian Alexander Rybak they finished 14th place.
