Nelore
The Nelore cattle are a Zebu cattle breed was bred in Brazil and imported from India Ongole cattle. Their name comes from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh in India. Nelores have a very large hump that extends over the shoulder and neck. Her long legs help them to wade in the water and to graze.
Nelores can be kept under different climatic conditions. They are very tolerant to high temperatures and have natural resistance to parasites and diseases.
Most Nelores are grown in Brazil.
