Nembro

Nembro is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 11,595 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012).

Geography

Nembro located 10 km northeast of the provincial capital of Bergamo and 60 km northeast of the city of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are albino, Algua, Alzano Lombardo, Pradalunga, Scanzorosciate Selvino, Villa di Serio and Zogno.

• The parish church of San Martino, which was built in the 9th century and restored in the 18th century.
• The San Nicola da Tolentino Church from 1512
• The Chapel of Zuccarello, built next to a castle dating from the 15th century. It contains frescoes from the 15th to the 17th centuries.
