Nenad Medić

Nenad Medić ( born December 21, 1983 in Apatin, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a professional Canadian poker player of Serbian origin.

During his university years he played basketball and was a roundabout way to poker. He decided to pursue a career as a poker player rather than a basketball player.

Since 2005 Medić 16 times at the World Poker Tour was in the money, where it has reached four final tables. In November 2006 he won the WPT Championship event at Foxwoods Resort Casino. He was awarded over 1.7 million dollars, its largest to date prize money. A year later he succeeded in this tournament the third place, for which he received half a million U.S. dollars.

Overall, his entire tournament earnings amounted to more than $ 4.5 million.
