Nenad Puljezević

Nenad Puljezević ( in the Hungarian National Team Puljezevics Nenad, born March 13, 1973 in Belgrade ) is a former Serbian Hungarian handball player. Its body length is 1.95 m and it is 115 kg heavy.

Puljezević, who played for the German team TSV Hannover -Burgdorf ( Rückennr.99 ) and for the Hungarian national team ( Rückennr.1 ) aground, was handball goalkeeper.

Career

Nenad Puljezević signed his first professional contract with RK Red Star Belgrade. With the Brussels residents, he was several times champion and cup winner and rose to the national team. In 1999 he moved to league rivals RK Lovćen Cetinje. After 4 years, he finally hired abroad in the Hungarian top team SC Pick Szeged. There Puljezević reached cult status and in 2006 and 2008 Cup winner and 2007 champion. In 2009 he joined the Serbian club HC Kolubara. On 3 November 2009 he finally signed a contract with TSV Hannover -Burgdorf, validity until the end of the season was 2011/2012. Then he kept another year goal of Hanover. 2013 he finished his career.

Nenad Puljezević had by 2006 already contested 50 matches for the national team and won with Yugoslavia at the Men's Handball World Championship for Men in 2001 the bronze medal. Nevertheless, he was most of the time in the shade of Dejan Peric and Arpad Šterbik. As the Hungarian team finally sought an experienced goalkeeper in the summer of 2006 for the upcoming World Handball Championship for Men in Germany in 2007 on the side of Nándor Fazekas, they asked for Šterbiks cancellation Nenad Puljezević. He agreed, but received only two days before departure to Germany his new passport. At the World Cup he did a great job and was instrumental in the Hungarian entry into the main round.
