Neomariania incertella

Neomariania incertella is a butterfly of the family of Stathmopodidae.

Features

The moths reach a wingspan of about 13 mm, the forewing length is about 6 millimeters. The antennae are very long and extend over the front wing tip out. The forewings are yellowish gray sand, have a gray center and individual along the hem gray scales. The hind wings are dark gray and have yellow fringed scales.

Dissemination

Neomariania incertella is widespread in the Azores.

Biology

The biology of the species is unknown.

System

The assignment is thought that it may have been caught in the only copy to a female of Neomariania oecophorella. The following synonym is known:
