Nereis
Nereis succinea
Nereis is a genus of polychaete of the family of Nereidae. It consists of many most marine species, including Nereis diversicolor and Nereis virens ragworms.
Their locomotion serving parapodia are characterized by tongue-shaped dorsal and ventral lobes. Characteristic continue their four eyes and two antennae at the head end, and the powerful mandibles in the far vorstülpbaren esophagus.
