Geographical location
Nerenstetten is on the Middle Flächenalb about 15 kilometers northeast of Ulm.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north by Ball village, on the east by Setzingen and Öllingen, in the south on the town Langenau and to the west by Börslingen.
Structure
Nerenstetten consists of two districts, the main town Nerenstetten and betting rings.
History
In 1343 Nerenstetten was first mentioned, today's district Wettingen already around the year 1100. The municipality belongs to the Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Langenau to.
Religions
The vast majority of the population is Protestant.
Economy and infrastructure
The village is structured agricultural. In 2003, there were eleven full-time farms and ten part-time farmers who together managed about 550 hectares.
Education
Kindergarten and elementary school are located in the Handball village three kilometers away. They are operated by a special purpose association, the Nerenstetten and belong to some similarly small neighboring communities.
