Nerf Herder

Nerf Herder is a fun punk band, which was founded in 1994 in California. The name comes from the movie The Empire Strikes Back where Han Solo Princess Leia insults at one point as a nerf herder ( in the German dubbed version is the place " Wookietreiber ").

History

The original line-up consisted of main songwriter Parry Gripp, Charlie Dennis and Steve " The Cougar " Sherlock. The first successes in the radio charts, the trio celebrated with the song Van Halen, a satirical throwback to the legendary hard rock band that caused their singer Sammy Hagar with the statement, Nerf Herder are fagots ( fags ). Under the direction of Lagwagon - head Joey Cape 's debut album was recorded, which had the band's name to the title and was moved with Arista Records.
