Nerija PutinaitÄ—

Neriah Putinaitė ( born May 19, 1971 in Tauragė, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian philosopher and former politician, deputy Lithuanian Education and Science Minister (2008-2012 ).

Life

Neriah Putinaitė graduated from 1989 to 1996 at the Philosophy Faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas ( VU), the Bachelor and Master of Philosophy from 1996 to 2000, the doctoral program at Lietuvos filosofijos ir sociologijos institutas and received his doctorate on the subject of " justice problem in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant ," worked as a research assistant at the Institute. Putinaitė continued his education at the University of Marburg, University of Greifswald, Tübingen and Poitiers ( France) .. In 2004, she graduated from the International Summer Courses at the Weimar -Jena Academy in Weimar. She taught as a lecturer at the Chair of Ethics at the Vilniaus pedagoninis universitetas and from 2004 to 2009, she Advisor to the Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus. Of 17 December 2008 to 13 December 2012, she was Vice- Minister of Education and Science, Deputy Minister Gintaras Steponavičius (* 1967) in the cabinet Kubilius II teaches courses "Ask the Lithuanian and European identity " and " concept of Soviet identity " at the Institute of international Relations and political Science of the VU.
