History

Nessa was first documented in 1065.

From the city Teuchern and the communities Deuben, Gröben, Gröbitz, Krauschwitz, Nessa, Prittitz and Trebnitzgrund the unified community town Teuchern is formed on 1 January 2011 by law. With the formation of the new city which is involved in the formation of new city and the communities involved are resolved.
