The Antillean guilder (Dutch Antillean gulden ) was the currency of Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The Gulden was set as the currency of the former Netherlands Antilles and was the currency in Aruba until 1986, when Aruba separated from the Netherlands Antilles. With the 2010 dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles carried out the end of the currency is decided. For the special municipalities of Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius, the national currency on 1 January 2011 was replaced by the U.S. dollar. By 1940, the guilder was bound to the Dutch currency, since it is rated at a fixed exchange rate to the U.S. dollar. This course was from 1979 USD 1 = 1.79 ANG, as well as the Aruban florin.

End of August 2009 was discussed at a conference in Willemstad Curaçao and Sint Maarten for dollarization, as an alternative, the conversion was planned to the Caribbean guilder for 2012. However, the currency is not yet been introduced.

Instead of the notes to 25 and 250 guilders then there should be 20 banknote and 200 guilders.
