Netra

The Northern German Gas - Transversal ( NETRA ) is a 341 km long pipeline to transport natural gas that runs from the import point Europipe in Dornum on the North Sea to Salzwedel in Saxony- Anhalt. It was taken in 1995 on the section between Etzel and Salzwedel in operation. In 1999, an extension of 49 kilometers from the Etzel to Dornum. In Wardenburg is a compressor station. Owned and operated by Open Grid Europe, Germany, Gasunie and StatoilHydro.
