Netti Witziers-Timmer

Josephina Maria Jeanette " Nettie " Witziers -Timmer ( born July 22, 1923 in Amsterdam, † 25 January 2005, ibid; born Jeanette Timmer ) was a Dutch athlete.

Celebrated their biggest success in 1948 at the Summer Olympic Games in London. Together with Xenia Stad -de Jong, Gerda van der Kade Koudijs and the flying housewife Fanny Blankers - Koen was Olympic champion in the 4 x 100 - meter relay race.

Two years before her Olympic victory, she had already become in Oslo together with the Dutch 4 x 100 m relay team European champion.
