Net is a German film directed by Robert Thalheim from the year 2005.
Action
The 15- year-old Sebastian lives with his mother Angelika since the divorce of his parents. When this becomes pregnant by her boyfriend Bernd and draws to him, he goes to his father Marcel. Marcel is unemployed but has a small retail space rented in an apartment building in Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin and tries to selling alarm systems. His big dream is to become bodyguards. First, he does not want to take Sebastian, but then both re-learn better know and appreciate.
Sebastian tried doing to get order into his father's life. He helps him when writing applications and tried to wean him his constant moaning about everything. Meanwhile, Sebastian learns Nora know that just discharged advertising newspapers. He meets with her and the two become a couple. When he wants but imagine his father, this just hangs after too much beer over the toilet. Background
Net is the feature film debut of Robert Thalheim and was produced by his Potsdamer Academy of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf". The film was shot, among others in the Eberswalde road and in the Mauerpark in Berlin. The premiere was on 18 January 2005 at the Film Festival Max Ophüls Prize in Saarbrücken, where the net " Award -length film " won. At the Berlinale 2005, the film received the German - French prize "Dialogue en perspective ", which is awarded for young German cinema. Net also won the German Film Critics 2005 Best First Feature and the Art of Film Award for Best Film at the first Festival of German Films in Ludwigshafen.
Net came on 5 May 2005 in German cinemas, reaching to the end of almost 20,000 spectators. The TV was first broadcast on 25 July 2006 on ZDF, the part of the series co-produced the film The small teleplay.
