Neu Boltenhagen
New Bolton is a town in the north of the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. It is administered by the Office Lubmin based in Lubmin.
Geography and transport
New Bolton is between Greifswald and Wolgast, east of the Danish Wiek ( part of the Greifswald Bodden ). It is located on the southern edge of the Ziesebruchs through which the Ziese flows eastwards to the river Peene. The town is located north of state road 109 at the railway line Greifswald - Lubmin. About 14 kilometers west of the municipality is the town of Greifswald and nine kilometers north-east is the official residence Lubmin.

1350 documentary was first mentioned as lodemanshaghen - to interpret German foundation ( clearance = Hagen ), name as "Forest of the famous man."
Mirror village
Mirror village in 1360 known as " Speghelstorp " documentary. German foundation - the name probably as a field name - to interpret mirror = lake or pond. In the former local situation, there were several kettle holes. Mirror village became a modern deserted after 1920.
