Neuengörs

Neuengörs is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. Altengörs and stumps are in the municipality, which existed in its present form since 1972.

Geography and transport

Neuengörs is located about 8 km southeast of Bad Segeberg in a rural environment. To the west runs the federal motorway 21 of Bad Segeberg to Bad Oldesloe, north of the A20 from Bad Segeberg to Lübeck.

History

Altengörs was first documented in 1249, Neuengörs was probably founded in connection with the victories castle in Bad Segeberg in 1150. Stubben 1348 was first mentioned.

Incorporations

On January 1, 1972, the municipalities were integrated Altengörs and stumps.

Policy
