Neuheim

Neuheim is a municipality in the canton train in Switzerland.

History

The municipality is Neuheim since the cantonal constitution of 1848 separated from Menzingen and independently.

Neuheim is achievable since the introduction of light rail train on 12 December 2004 with the ZVB line 31 ( from Baar to Neuheim ). Neuheim has a direct main road link with Sihlbrugg ( Gemeinde Baar ), Edlibach (municipality Menzingen ZG) and Baar. Zurich can be reached in under 30 minutes.

Population

Of the 2093 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) are 77.2 % and 22.8 % Swiss foreign nationals. In the community Neuheim 1110 men and 983 women live.

56.9 % of the population is Roman Catholic, 14.4% Evangelical reformed and 19.8 % no religious affiliation, added 8.9% other religions.
