Nine village is since 1923 a district of the Saxon district town of Pirna in the district of Saxon Switzerland & Eastern Ore Mountains, Germany.

Geography

Nine village is located about five kilometers south-east of Pirna city center and forms the southern " tip " of the urban area. The town is located 160 m above sea level. NN on the outskirts of the Saxon Switzerland on the border of the eastern Erzgebirge. Nine village lies in the valley of God Leuba, a left tributary of the Elbe. History

The town was first mentioned in 1408 as Nuendorffchin. It was followed by nominations as Nuwendorfflin ( 1445 ), Newendorfflein ( 1486 ) and Nawderffelin ( 1533). In 1548 appeared the first time on Nine village.
