Neurofunk

Neuro Funk is an end of the 1990s arisen subgenre of drum and bass. Pioneers of this area are the drum -and- bass producer Ed Rush, Optical, Matrix, and MC / producer Ryme Tyme. This style, which has evolved from the drum -and- bass subgenre Techstep contains many influences from the genres Techno, Acid and jazz.

Was first used the term " Neuro Funk" in 1997 by arts journalists Simon Reynolds in an article in the music magazine The Wire.
