Neustupov

Neustupov ( German Neustupow ) is a Městys in the Czech Republic. It is 17 kilometers south-west of Vlašim and belongs to Okres Benešov.

Geography

Neustupov located in the Středočeská pahorkatina in a land that is called Česká Sibiř ( Bohemian Siberia). South-west rises the Mezivrata (713 m), at the top of the transmission tower of the television Votice stands.

Neighboring towns are Otradovice and Broumovice in the north, Vlčkovice in the northeast, and Svojšice Slavín in the east, in the southeast Bořetice, Vrchy and Záhoříčko in the south, Podlesí in the southwest, and Buchov Hory in the West, Kloboučníkov, Větrov and Černý Les in the northwest.

History

The festivals Neustupov which was the seat of Vladiken of Neostupa, was probably built in the 9th century. As time of origin of the settlement Neostupov the 11th and 12th century is assumed. The first written mention is found in a charter of Duke Frederick of 1,185.

After the Vladiken of Neostupa included, inter alia, the gender of Soběšín, Vidlák of Austerlitz and the Kaplirz de Sulewicz to the owners of the place. Kaspar Cappleri de Sulewicz was executed in 1621 at the Old Town Square in Prague. 1654 acquired the imperial chamberlain and privy Franz Eusebius of Pötting the place. He promoted the development of Neustupov. Leopold I got Neustupow 1666 market town and granted the privilege to guide a city arms. 1681 bought Karl Ernst Freiherr von Bissingen Neustupow. He gave the place the privilege to hold four fairs. In 1809 the family Rombald Neustupov acquired.

After the abolition of patrimonial Neustupov formed in 1848, market town in the district Selt Chan. In 1890 Neustupov 771 inhabitants. 1892 acquired by the Counts of Aichelburg the Allodialherrschaft Neustupov with Bořetice. The Aichelburger merits acquired by the development of the town and were popular with the population.

After the Second World War, the city came to Okres Votice. On 1 January 1961 the resolution and the reclassification to Okres Benešov was. 1980 were incorporated Broumovice and Jiřetice. Since 10 October 2006 Neustupov has the status of Městys.
