Neuwarper See

The Neuwarper See, also Warper Lake (Polish Jezioro Nowowarpieńskie ) is a bay on the southern shore of the Szczecin Lagoon. It extends about six miles inland and to the north has two narrow entrances to the lagoon, each 150 meters wide and divided by a small reed island.

The western and the southern shore of the bay are part of the district Vorpommern - Greifswald in the German state of Mecklenburg- Vorpommern, the eastern shore to the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship (District Police). On Neuwarper lake, the boroughs Altwarp and Luckow, district Rieth, and Nowe Warpno ( Neuwarp ) and the Neuwarper districts Podgrodzie ( Old Town) and Karszno (Albrecht village). The island Riether Werder, 0.83 km ², is located in the German part of the Neuwarper lake and is like the entire bank between Altwarp and Rieth nature reserve. The island of Lysa Wyspa ( Bald Mountain ) is located in the Polish part.

Between Altwarp Neuwarp and tours throughout the year passenger ferries ( each with 6 connections from 10:00 bis 17:30 clock ).
