Neuzelle

Neuzelle ( Lower Cala Nova ) is an official belonging to village in the southeast of Brandenburg Oder-Spree district, a nationally recognized resort and especially by the monastery Neuzelle known. It belongs to the Official Neuzelle.

Community structure

The community consists of 17 districts since late 2003. Bahro has about 100 inhabitants and is a village streets, which belonged until 1817 to the monastery Neuzelle, here wine, hemp and flax were grown. Bomsdorf is an old estate village and was the only village in today's office never to the monastery Neuzelle, it was the seat of the Bomsdorff. Göhlen has been inhabited since the Bronze Age; Today about 170 people live in the village. Henze village has 149 inhabitants. Möbiskruge Six kilometers of mill town and has about 350 inhabitants. History

Naming

The name new cell ( Nova Cella ) was derived from the Cistercian abbey founded in 1268. It was a spin-off of the resident Saxon Nossen mother Altzella Monastery ( Cella ). Originally, the site was mentioned in Slowinski and Sorbian as Slavin.

The church was enlarged Neuzelle December 31, 2001 by ten previously independent municipalities. Ossett was added on 26 October 2003.:

The Möbiskruger sports club was founded in 1967 under the name BSG Traktor Möbiskruge. The Neuzeller SV 1922 playing with his football teams in the state and county league. The Archers Neuzelle eV was originally founded in 1842 and again in 1991. In Treppeln there is a riding and dressage stables with 20 horses.

Business, education and infrastructure

One of the most important companies in the village is the monastery Neuzelle. There are six kindergartens, two primary schools, a combined high school / college and eleven volunteer fire and a police station. The municipality has a Catholic and a Protestant church.
